Easy sashimi at home with that glacier fresh water High Country Salmon taste!

We've done all the hard work - removing the skin and cutting out the pin bones. You just need to slice and serve. The fish is harvested, processed and dispatched the same day so is great as sashimi for two days from delivery, after that it can be used in cooking.

Each fillet is prepared, trimmed and vacuum packed for transport. We pack all our product with ice gel packs to ensure the fish stays well chilled during delivery. There is a 3 day use-by date on sashimi fillets - this is the timeframe that we recommend eating it as sashimi. If it is after this date, you can cook and eat it within a further 3 days.

Deliveries are available to most addresses Tuesday-Friday. Saturday delivery is only available to certain addresses. Please choose an available delivery date in your cart.

High Country went out of the way to track down the delivery so it wont be stuck at NZ post depot over the weekend

Good tasting as always but packaging broke

Would give a 5 star as current as well as past purchases have all been very tasty.

Had to drop 1 star this time because the vacuum seal for the sashimi fillet was broken when we received it (air got in, the fillet was squashed up) . Luckily it still tasted good and not off. Just a little bit concerning as I remembered all past purchases have been sealed shut properly, the family almost considered not eating it in case it is contaminated or opened by someone else during transport.

Thanks for letting us know there was a problem with the vacuum seal. Because the salmon is so fresh, the broken seal won't have affected the quality of the salmon. We realise it isn't ideal for this to happen, so we'll send you a gift card via email.
