Smoked & Fresh Salmon Tartare

Ingredients:

500g sashimi fillet, cut into small cubes

250g cold smoked salmon, cut into small cubes

1/3 C lime juice (approx. 2 limes)

2 spring onions, finely chopped

2 T extra virgin olive oil

¼ C dill, finely chopped

¼ C capers, finely chopped

½ T Dijon mustard

1 T wholegrain mustard

Salt & pepper

Toasted sourdough bread, to serve

Watercress (optional), to serve

 

Method:

  1. Combine salmon, lime juice, spring onions, oil, dill, capers and mustards. Season, then cover and chill for 15 minutes.
  2. Serve with buttered sourdough toasts and watercress, if using.
